At Trinity Candles we only use a natural soy wax in our candles and melts. Being a natural product it is vegan and eco friendly.

Soy wax was invented in 1991 by Michael Richards when he was looking for an alternate to beeswax. After much experimentation he discovered a relatively cheap way to create wax from soybean oil. Apart from being a natural product that is vegan and eco-friendly soy wax has a number of other benefits.

Soy wax is a softer wax and has a lower melting point, therefore it can burn up to twice as long as a similar sized paraffin wax candle

Soy wax candles have excellent scent throw when burning and have a pleasant smell when cold. When unlit, place your candle in a warm place, out of direct sunlight, and enjoy the wonderful smell.

Soy wax is easy to clean up using warm soapy water. When you candle is finished simply clean and reuse the vessel for something else. Unlike paraffin wax, no harsh abrasives are required to clean spills.
